October 2006:
Hello Lars.
Now I use the castiron stowe, but the house is still not finished. Annoying!
The workmen is impossible to handle.
I am incredible happy that the stove is matching your waranties, because
I wanted it as a flaming wish. Oil is an expensive amusement, the stove is
beautifull and - its appear - a good ressource of heat.
Nis accepted the investment, but even so he was sceptical about the stoves
functionality. He is very surpriced in a positive way - it is also rather
incredible that so small amount of firewood give such large effect.
It become exciting when we are moving. Then we really find out how
the system works and the weather is still hot for the season, but it is
probably different when the frost arrive ( I'm dead tired waiting for our
moving).
I would like to ask you if it is possible to use alcoholtablets when we
are lighting the fire. We have tryed it some times and it is very easy.
But a mand told us, that it would give af smell - do you know anythingh
about that - would you please mail me about this?
Did you find a diningroom to us - how does it go with this part of your
business? We have startet looking around, but it is difficult when you
got special demands; like blancpolished mahogany, and not white - what
then? Yes something like hepplewhite, dim-like something, which can take
dayli use. Please use your wise head!
Say hallo to your nice girlfriend and Per - Does he go to Thailand with
the family? A splendid fellow.
Finally many salutes
Nis and Else Ravn
June 2006:
To Lars Falk
Thank you very much for the cookingstove, which I receive nearly 2 weeks
ago.
It went well preserved to Japan and futher on to my residence.
It is really goodlooking and I hope it works as good as it look. This will
appear in the coming winther, but there is probably no doubt about that.
Thank you for the many extra cookingrings - they are good to have.
The stove has now went inside, but wil be buildt in later.
I have worked with cooking in more than 35 years, but it is long time since
I have "played music" on a cooking stove. The first 3 year of my apprenticeship
in Denmark took place with a cooking stove. So there will be old memories to
refresh, when I got fire in the stove the "first" time.
Once again thank you very much for the fine kind of work. I will contant you
again, if there will be things I could use in the future.
Kind Regards
Thorbjørn Andersen
