Castiron stoves are very effective and use less wood/coal. Normally they also have a smaller fireplace which means a greater profit. The big surface is giving a lot of heat for a comparatively low cost. You can also, as needed, fire the night over.
The stoves are between 1 and 2,8 meters high. They can be square, rectangular or round, with very beautiful ornaments. Some of Denmark's most famous architects have made the design for these fantastic stoves.
