Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) was a prominent Swedish ceramicist and designer for Upsala-Ekeby from 1944 to 1963. She was known for her modernist and refined aesthetic, with strong attention to form and materials.
One of her most iconic series is Pronto, created in the early 1950s, featuring clean lines and soft, rounded shapes combined with a distinctive glaze in muted bluish-gray and brown tones. The series includes vases and bowls that reflect the functionalist ideals of the era. Today, the Pronto line is highly sought after by collectors for its timeless expression and craftsmanship.
