Large sculptural bowl, 1959.
Impressive “Coquille” bowl in layered art glass with deep pink colouring encased in clear glass. The broad, sweeping V-shape is characteristic of Kedelv’s most iconic late-1950s designs.

Bio:
Paul Kedelv (1917–1990) was a notable Swedish glass designer. He began his training in 1931 at the Orrefors drawing studio under Simon Gate and Edward Hald. Kedelv’s pieces remain highly regarded today for their sculptural aesthetic, layered colouration and technical craftsmanship.
