Bio:
Marianne Westman (1928–2017) was one of Sweden’s most influential ceramic and porcelain designers. She worked for Rörstrand from 1950 and created a number of iconic tableware services and decorative patterns that became symbols of post-war Swedish design. Her work is characterised by functionalism, vibrant colours and a playful modernist aesthetic that remains highly sought after by collectors today.
