Bio:
Lars Bertle, born in Helsingborg in 1925, is a self-taught Swedish visual artist who began pursuing art professionally in the late 1960s. His work encompasses still lifes, figurative subjects and particularly landscapes, often interpreted through a free, colouristic and modernist visual language. Bertle is represented in public collections including Helsingborg Museum, Gothenburg Museum of Art, Malmö Museum, Landskrona Museum and the Swedish Arts Council.
