Bio:
Murano has been a centre of Venetian glassmaking for centuries. During the mid-20th century, the island’s glassworks combined traditional craftsmanship with decorative and figurative motifs. Hand-blown decanters with elaborate handles, coloured details and enamelled decoration are characteristic examples of decorative Murano glass from this period.
