Royal Copenhagen Blue Flower Curved, round soup tureen with boy holding a flower basket.
This was painted by Mr. Raben Svardalyhn (painter #3), who was working at Royal Copenhagen from 1779 until 1814, so this is a very early piece.
Factory first.
Diameter 22.5 cm. without handles., length with handles 27.0 cm.
On the very first porcelain from Royal Copenhagen you ofter see glaze faults. Here is one at the lid in the blue decoration. There are also some small spots in the glaze. At the edge of the lid is a grinding, that it may be born with. There is also a small chip on the edge of the tureen, where the lid rests. Please see the close-up pictures. But all together the tureen is in a very good and well kept condition.
