Svend Hammershøi was employed as a ceramist at Herman Arnold Kähler's ceramic factory in Næstved from 1893 until his death in 1948.

He is known for his works in i.a. this gray double ash glaze.

The bowl is in good condition but with a few glaze chips on the corners, please notice the one corner.
