Toddy glass attributed to Flensburg Glasværk

Price: 900.- DKK per item

Height 14.5 cm.

The glass is attributed to Flensburg Glasværk.
This glass work is unfortunately relatively poorly described in Danish glass history for several reasons. The lack of catalog material is definitely the biggest reason and the changing status of the city has probably made a lot of archiving work difficult.

The glass is attributed to Flensburg Glasværk from Harald Roesdahl's booklet "Om Flensborg Glasværk" from 1988.

It is mouth blown with fine lines from the glassmaker's tool, underneath it has a large polished pontil. It is decorated with the initials JHH and a house and the date 11 May 1865.

Unfortunately, it is with widespread glass plague, which looks worse in the pictures than in reality.
