Bio:
Åke Holm (1900–1980) was a Swedish sculptor, ceramicist, and printmaker, trained at the Technical School in Stockholm. He worked in ceramics, painting, and graphic techniques, but is especially renowned for his religiously inspired figures and prints. His style combines archaic simplicity with strong personal expression. Holm’s works are represented in the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and in numerous Swedish church collections.
