Bio:
Kirsten Ernst (b. 1944) is a Danish visual artist and sculptor working in ceramics, bronze, and graphics. She was educated at the School of Design in Copenhagen (1960–64) and has exhibited widely in Denmark, including at Charlottenborg, Den Flexible, and the Sculpture Biennials in the King’s Garden. Ernst is known for her organic forms and distinctive use of colors, often in blue, yellow, and orange tones. She has completed several public commissions, including water features at Sorø Wastewater Plant and Hvalsø Town Hall. Her works are held in both public and private collections, and she is listed in Weilbach’s Dictionary of Artists.
