Bio:
Paul Kedelv (1917–1990) was a Swedish glass artist trained at Orrefors and later associated with Flygsfors Glasbruk, where he created the famous “Coquille” series in the 1950s. His works are characterized by organic forms and the contrast between opaline white and clear glass. During this period, Flygsfors became one of Sweden’s most innovative glassworks, and vases like these remain iconic examples of Nordic modernist glass design.
