Hand-shaped ceramic dish with a vibrant turquoise-blue glaze and incised stylised floral decoration. A characteristic example of Nylund’s organic design language and colourful expression from the period.

Bio:
Gunnar Nylund was one of Rörstrand’s most influential designers throughout the mid-20th century. Working with both stoneware and faience, he became known for his sculptural forms and rich glaze work. During the 1960s and 70s, he explored colourful and decorative expressions, often in small production runs, making these pieces highly collectible today.
