Tall cylindrical stoneware vase with fixed conical lid, executed in the characteristic brown Palshus glaze with vertical and horizontal relief lines. A striking example of the workshop’s refined modernist aesthetic.

Bio:
Palshus Ceramics, founded in 1948 by Per and Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt, is celebrated for its modernist stoneware, defined by clean forms, subtle glazes and sophisticated relief decoration. Production was carried out in small batches, often wheel-thrown, giving each piece a studio-crafted individuality. Today, Palshus is considered a cornerstone of Danish mid-century ceramic design.
