Bio:
Johann Lötz Witwe was among the most important glassmakers of the Art Nouveau movement around 1900. The workshop is particularly renowned for sophisticated iridescent effects and elegant forms, where colour, light, and silhouette are combined into a harmonious whole. Slender vases such as this were often conceived as decorative standalone objects and reflect the period’s ideal of uniting art and craftsmanship.
