Bio:
Höganäs is among Sweden’s best-known ceramic production centres, with roots going back to the 19th century. In the early 20th century, alongside utilitarian wares, the factory produced decorative pieces characterised by experimental glazes and pronounced relief modelling, giving a distinctly crafted appearance. Lustre glazes were used to add depth and an iridescent, light-responsive surface.
