Bio:
Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919–2008) was a Danish designer and sculptor and one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Danish design. He served as chief designer for Dansk Designs from its founding in 1954 and created a wide range of household objects in steel, wood, glass and ceramics. His work is characterised by functional clarity, high craftsmanship and strong roots in Nordic design traditions, and his designs achieved significant international recognition, particularly in the United States.
