Bio:
Brita af Klercker (1906–2001) was a Swedish artist born and deceased in Lund. She worked primarily with painting and drawing, often drawing inspiration from nature and its shifting moods as well as from more abstract compositions. Her works are characterised by vivid colour and a personal modernist expression in which figuration and abstraction are frequently interwoven into a poetic visual language.
