Arne Bang, jam jar with lid and spoon.
Hand-thrown cylindrical stoneware jar, model number 129, with vertically fluted body and a warm reddish-brown glaze with lively surface variation. Fitted with a lid and a Georg Jensen spoon in the Acorn pattern, produced in the 1940s in a refined Art Deco style.

Bio:
Arne Bang was a Danish ceramicist known for his hand-thrown stoneware works characterised by organic forms and rich, often earthy glazes. Georg Jensen was a Danish silversmith and designer whose workshop was founded in 1904. His designs, including the classic Acorn pattern, are known for their organic forms and high level of craftsmanship and remain in production today.
