Cylindrical stoneware vase with a slender form and slightly flared neck. Decorated with a graphic pattern in muted tones beneath a glossy glaze with yellow hues at the rim, characteristic of Rörstrand’s mid-20th century production.

Bio:
Hertha Bengtsson (1917–1993) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. She worked for Rörstrand from 1941 and became one of the factory’s most influential designers. Bengtsson is especially known for her refined and functional design language and for iconic tableware such as the “Koka” series, now considered a landmark of Swedish design.
