Bio:
Vita Thymann was a Danish visual artist and sculptor educated at art academies in Boston, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen, graduating in 1952 under professors Johs. Bjerg, Einar Utzon-Frank, and William Scharff. She worked across sculpture and painting and is particularly known for her bronze works and for producing numerous porcelain figurines for Bing & Grøndahl.
