Bio:
Danish ceramic production in the 1930s was characterised by a strong craft tradition with emphasis on form and ornamentation. Terracotta was frequently used for decorative objects, often featuring incised decoration and repeating patterns inspired by both classical and contemporary stylistic movements. Many workshops produced in smaller series, and these pieces are today valued as representative examples of interwar design.
