Carl-Harry Stålhane and Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand, set of two miniature stoneware pieces.
Set comprising a hand-decorated dish and a small vase in glazed stoneware, designed in characteristic Swedish modernist style. Both pieces are factory seconds, canceled with one incised line on the base.
Origin: Sweden.
Designer: Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920-1990) and Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997).

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane was one of Sweden’s most significant ceramic designers and worked for Rörstrand from 1939, becoming renowned for refined forms and sophisticated glazes. Gunnar Nylund, born in Paris, served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 to 1955 and transformed Swedish ceramics through organic forms and innovative stoneware production. Both designers are regarded as among the most influential figures in 20th-century Nordic ceramics.
