Bio:
René Lalique (1860–1945) was a French glass artist and jeweller, widely regarded as one of the most influential designers of the Art Nouveau period. His collaborations with perfume houses transformed perfume bottle design by combining artistic craftsmanship with industrial production. The LAir du Temps bottle with its iconic doves was created for Nina Ricci and remains one of the most recognisable perfume designs in the world.
