Set of four handmade miniature stoneware pieces comprising three vases and one bowl. Decorated with deep blue and blue-green glazes and signed by John Andersson. The varied forms and sizes make this an attractive example of Swedish studio ceramics from the 1980s.

Bio:
John Andersson was a Swedish ceramic artist associated with Höganäs Keramik, where he produced hand-thrown stoneware in small series. His work is characterised by simple forms, high craftsmanship and carefully balanced glazes. Andersson’s production reflects the strong Swedish stoneware tradition that made Höganäs one of the leading ceramic centres in Scandinavia during the twentieth century.
