Bio:
Irma Yourstone (1925–2011) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer who worked for Upsala Ekeby for several decades. She created a number of distinctive stoneware series featuring relief decoration and nature-inspired motifs, often executed in muted earth tones. Her work is recognised as an important contribution to Swedish post-war design and remains highly sought after by collectors of Scandinavian ceramics.
