Bio:
Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was one of Sweden’s most important ceramic artists and worked at Gustavsberg from 1934 until 1981. He is renowned for his exceptionally refined thrown forms and technically sophisticated glazes, which made his works highly sought after by collectors and museums worldwide. Friberg's production is regarded as one of the highlights of twentieth-century Swedish ceramics.
