Bio:
Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938–2018) was one of Sweden’s most influential glass artists and worked for Kosta Boda from 1972 onward. She became internationally renowned for her colourful and expressive decorations featuring hearts, tulips, snakes and human figures. Her work successfully bridged fine art and popular culture, making her one of the most sought-after Swedish glass artists of the twentieth century.
