Bio:
Eric Lundberg (1918–1992) was a Swedish painter and printmaker from Uppsala. A self-taught artist, he refined his practice through study trips to Denmark and Norway during the 1950s. Lundberg worked across oil painting, watercolour, gouache, woodcuts and sculpture, becoming known for his rich colour palette and expressive, semi-abstract compositions. His subjects included still lifes, portraits, urban scenes, landscapes and figure studies. He exhibited extensively throughout Sweden and internationally, including a group exhibition in New York, and his works are represented in Swedish museums and public collections.
