Bio:
Ingegerd Silow (1916–2005) was a Swedish textile artist and master weaver educated at Konstfack in Stockholm and the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. She is regarded as one of the leading Swedish textile designers of the mid-twentieth century, renowned for her handwoven rugs and tapestries that combine Scandinavian design traditions with modern compositions and influences gathered during her travels. Her works are represented in both public and private collections.
