Bio:
Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) was one of Swedens most influential ceramic designers and served as artistic director at Gustavsberg from 1917 to 1949. A pioneer of modern Swedish ceramics, he created both functional tableware and highly regarded artistic stoneware with exceptional technical and artistic quality. His works are represented in major museum collections and are considered among the finest achievements of twentieth-century Swedish design.
