Bio:
Aldo Londi (1911–2003) was an Italian ceramicist and designer who became artistic director of Bitossi in Montelupo Fiorentino in 1946. He was renowned for his experimental approach to ceramic surfaces, glazes and decorative techniques and created numerous distinctive designs for the company over several decades. Londi’s work is now regarded as among the most significant examples of Italian ceramic design from the mid-20th century.
