Bio:
Knud Kyhn (1880–1969) was a Danish sculptor, painter and ceramic artist, particularly renowned for his powerful animal motifs and ceramic works. He was associated with Royal Copenhagen during several periods and created numerous sculptures, dishes and other stoneware pieces featuring animals as a recurring subject. His ceramic works are characterised by distinctive sculptural modelling and nuanced glazes that emphasise the texture and depth of the motifs.
