Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Finnish-Swedish ceramic artist, sculptor, and designer. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 to 1955 and is regarded as one of the leading Scandinavian ceramic designers of the twentieth century. His organic forms and sophisticated glazes have made his work highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
