Bio:
Jens Harald Quistgaard 1919–2008 was a Danish designer and sculptor who played an important role in the international success of Danish design. He co-founded Dansk Designs in 1954 and created an extensive range of functional objects in ceramics, wood, glass and metal. His work combines functionality with a restrained and sculptural design language.
