Tall, slender vase in hand-blown glass with a teardrop-shaped body, long narrow neck and decorative layers in blue and yellow tones. Retains its original Murano label.

Bio:
Murano, near Venice, has been an international centre of glassmaking for centuries. During the 20th century, the island’s glassworks became particularly renowned for hand-blown art glass, combining traditional Venetian techniques with modern forms and distinctive colour combinations. In the 1950s and 60s, Murano glass achieved a prominent position in Italian and international design.
