Bio:
Herta Bengtson (1917–1997) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. She worked at Rörstrand from 1941 to 1964 and became a prominent figure in Swedish post-war ceramics. Bengtson is particularly known for her tableware and art ceramics, combining simple forms with distinctive glazes and decorative surfaces. Her work for Rörstrand is highly sought after by collectors of Swedish design.
