Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Around 1900, the factory’s artistic porcelain was characterised by organic forms, naturalistic floral and botanical motifs, and delicate colours. The hand-painted porcelain from this period is a distinctive part of Royal Copenhagen’s historic production.
