Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Around 1900, the factory’s artistic porcelain reflected the organic forms of the period through naturalistic floral and botanical motifs, subtle colours and refined relief decoration. These works from the period form a distinctive part of Royal Copenhagen’s historic production.
