Organically shaped hand-blown glass bowl executed in the latticino technique, with fine spiralling glass bands in white and pink tones.
Origin: Murano, Italy.

Bio:
Murano has been an international centre for artistic glassmaking since the Renaissance. Latticino is a traditional Venetian glassmaking technique in which fine threads or bands of coloured or white glass are incorporated into clear glass and often twisted into spiral patterns. The technically demanding method was continued by Murano glassworks throughout the 20th century.
