Pitcher in white porcelain, decorated in cobalt blue with floral motifs and characteristic angular shaping. Model 10/8526. The factory mark is cancelled with one incised line, indicating second quality.

Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. The manufactory is renowned for its hand-decorated porcelain and its long tradition of cobalt-blue decoration. Blue Flower is one of the factory’s classic patterns and is distinguished by naturalistic floral motifs in shades of blue. The Angular version combines the floral decoration with a more pronounced and geometric form.
