Round dish in patinated bronze with softly curved forms and simple, rounded rims. The dish display individually developed patinas in green, brown and golden tones. Marked Just Andersen and executed as model B1775X.

Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish sculptor, silversmith and designer, born in Godhavn, Greenland. He trained as a decorative sculptor and later studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. In 1918, he established the Just Andersen company with his wife Alba. He became particularly known for his functional and decorative objects in pewter, bronze and Disko metal and developed a distinctive design language characterised by simple, classical and sculptural forms.
