Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish sculptor, silversmith and designer, born in Godhavn, Greenland. He trained as a decorative sculptor and later studied at the Royal Academy of Art. In 1918, he established the Just Andersen company with his wife Alba. His production included bowls, dishes, lamps and figures in bronze, pewter and Disko metal, and he became known for simple, classical forms within Danish decorative arts.
