Round bronze bowl with a profiled rim and figurative relief decoration to the interior. The surface displays a distinctive natural patina in green and brown tones. Marked Just Andersen and executed as model B96X.

Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish hollowware artist, silversmith and sculptor, born in Godhavn, Greenland. He trained as a decorative sculptor and later studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 1918, he founded the Just Andersen company with his wife Alba. His production included bowls, dishes, lamps and figures in bronze, pewter and Disko metal. During the 1930s, his designs developed towards a more modern and simplified aesthetic.
