Bio:
Silver decanter labels have been used since the 18th century to identify the contents of decanters and bottles. During the mid-20th century, such labels continued to be produced as decorative accessories for the table and drinks cabinet, often featuring historicist ornamentation and chains for suspension around the neck of a decanter.
