Set of four lunch plates in white porcelain decorated with the classic green vine leaf wreath. Marked with the Meissen crossed swords and cancelled with two incised lines.

Bio:
The Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710. The green vine leaf pattern was created in 1817 by Johann Samuel Arnhold following the development of a new chromium oxide green underglaze colour. Known as the Full Green Vine Wreath, the decoration became one of the manufactory’s classic patterns. The two cancellation lines at the mark indicate a factory quality classification.
