Handwoven wool carpet with a dense, textured surface in cream and pale pink tones with scattered brownish-pink details. Fringes at both ends.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Scandinavian wool carpets of the 1970s were often characterised by natural materials, tactile surfaces and subdued earthy and pastel tones. Handwoven carpets became an integral part of period interiors, where texture and the natural character of the material played a central role.
