Abstract and expressive composition featuring organic, almost figurative forms rendered in vivid green, blue, orange, yellow, and violet. The poster was produced for Asger Jorn’s exhibition at the Kestner-Gesellschaft in Hannover, held from 16 February to 18 March 1973. Printed by Clot, Bramsen et Georges in Paris. The image is catalogued as Van de Loo no. 426, and the poster edition is documented in an edition of 1,000 copies.

Bio:
Asger Jorn (1914–1973) was a Danish painter, printmaker, ceramicist, sculptor, and writer and a central figure in post-war European art. He was a co-founder of CoBrA and developed a spontaneous, expressive visual language in which abstract forms frequently merge with recognisable or imaginary figures. Jorn worked across painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and art theory and achieved substantial international recognition. His exhibition at the Kestner-Gesellschaft in Hannover in 1973 took place shortly before his death later that year.
