Bio:
Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) was a Swedish artist and ceramic designer who joined Gustavsberg in 1917 and played a pivotal role in the factory’s artistic development. He combined functionalism and Art Deco with experimental glazes and refined forms. His work, including the celebrated Argenta and Farsta series, is regarded as one of the most significant contributions to 20th-century Swedish ceramic design.
